Mamamilk bags are the result of the most extraordinary cooperation project.

They are made with woven recicled milk bags and leather details. The milk bags are gathered by groups of children and the weaving done by women weavers association in Addis.

Many are the independent associations of weavers in Addis. Manual handloom is part of the country's cultural heritage and it is still widely practiced by men and women.

Weavers at Bethlehem have had to experiment quite some time with weft and warp before they could obtain a straight pannel from the hand cut strips of used milk contaners
